CHRONICLES 2 CHAPTER 7 VERSES 1 THROUGH 3
The glory of the lord fills the temple

1.Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from Heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house. 2.And the priest could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. 3. And when all the children of Israel saw hoe the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshiped, and praised the Lord, saying For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever.

THE SACRIFICES AND REJOICING VERSES 4 THROUGH 11

4. Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord. 5.And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God. 6. And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with their instruments of music of the Lord, which David the king had made to praise the Lord, because his mercy endureth forever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood. 7.Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there he offered burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brazen alter which Solomon had made was not able to receive  the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat. 8.Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt. 9.And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the alter seven days, and the feast seven days. 10.And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the Lord had showed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. 11.Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

How to Create a Secret Society

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Have you ever wanted to be in an exclusive club, but never known of any? Do you wish to be viewed as chic and sophisticated? Start a secret society with only your friends.

Steps

  1. Create a secret or a secret mission. A secret society must have something to protect.
  2. Read a few clique-like books for some background information. Get any number of your friends to read these books. Privately talk with one of your closest friends whom you know will love the idea of starting a secret society.
  3. Think of a name. You and your closest friend should discuss what your secret society should be called. Also discuss who you will induct. Remember, even if you have a large group of really good friends, not all of them are secret society material. They won't find out, as it is a secret society.
  4. Conduct a proper initiation for you and your closest friend. This should be done before you initiate others. That way, you are sure to come up with a good idea. The initiation is one of the most important parts of the society. It has to be something neither of you would do normally. Candle-lighting sets a serious and official tone, which is always good. Secret names are fun to have.
  5. Figure out what your society does. There has to be rules. Set a schedule for fun things you can do, ie. dressing alike on certain days, or having monthly rituals. Have fun with it. It's all about your creativity. Newsletters are common.
  6. Find potential members. Subtly drop something related to your secret in a conversation with a friend to figure out how they feel about it. Make sure there's no possibility they ever betray you, make sure they will be okay with the rules. Don't mention your secret society until you are absolutely sure they can be completely trusted.
  7. Induct your members. Invite your friends to a sleepover and then spring it on them. They will be surprised and excited, and thrilled because they are special.
  8. An important thing in secret societies is to meet in secret, that means meeting in a new place every time or having access to a secret room somewhere.
  9. Make a dress code. Most small secret societies use robes while large ones, like the Freemasons, have complex aprons.
  10. Keep quiet and have fun. Your friends and you will be even closer than ever.
  11. Initiate well to do people in the society. In a school, intiate the most brilliant and enthusiastic students and they will motivate and inspire others.
  12. There needs to be a way to get rid of someone if they become bad for the group or start talking. Put this in the rules.

Warnings

  • If you make the mistake of choosing the wrong people; The popular clique, the jocks, control freaks, those that have a personal agenda like comptetition and pride, etc., be prepared to deal with people you can't trust. They will use it as a competitive platform, and when they do, you can bet they won't keep their mouths shut.
  • Delete your history so that nobody finds this web page.
  • Make sure you stay within the law when carrying out these steps.
  • Wear applicable protective safety gear, such as safety glasses, a breathing mask and/or respirator, gloves or protective clothing.

How to Form a Philosophy

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Click Here! Developing a personal philosophy can be a deeply rewarding life experience. A personal philosophy is a framework that helps you understand who you are and make sense of your life. Forming your own philosophy is quite difficult, especially for beginners but the rewards make it definitely worth a try. This guide will help get started.

Steps

  1. Understand that you are starting a lifelong journey. Commit to being open-minded and flexible. Your goal is to start on a path of personal growth that will evolve and mature as you experience life.
  2. Start reading and learning. Stick with what interests you and try to get a sense of the big ideas that philosophers are concerned with.
  3. Choose a type of philosophy. Philosophical thought is organized around many types of philosophies including: axiology, aesthetics, epistemology, ethics, logic, metaphysics and political theory. Follow your interests. Feel free to choose more than one type because you see particular linkages. You will enjoy thinking through how to meld them successfully.
    • After deciding a philosophy type, learn the background history of your chosen philosophy, including readings from the key philosophers. Understand the key questions that were addressed and get a solid understanding of the key concepts.
    • Improve your basic understanding of other types of philosophies. You cannot be an expert in everything but recognize that there is great value in understanding the basics of what others have done. A broad understanding of what people are struggling with and what the discussions have been about will help you to develop your own personal philosophy. Feel free to learn and build on existing ideas. It is difficult starting from scratch, so why not take another philosopher's ideas as a basic framework to get started? Many well known philosophers started like this.
  4. Expand and evolve your thinking. The framework you have selected is a starting point. As you experience life, test it out and see what works for you and what doesn't. When you have time analyze this and refine your framework philosophy. Over time, as you solve problems and assess the quality of the decisions you have made, you will be able to evolve from where you started into something autonomous of the original philosophy.
    • Become a critical thinker. Keep track of where you have obtained the basis for ideas, tenets, theories, etc., in your new philosophy. Being able to trace your theorizing or conclusions back to their source will help you defending your ideas or pushing them further. Very little develops in a vacuum.
    • Referring to what other philosophers have said gives your philosophy greater credibility because you are displaying your depth of knowledge and understanding of existing philosophies.
  5. Be patient and allow your ideas to percolate over time. When you have spare time, analyze the framework of your nascent philosophy, and try to find problems and solutions. Taking the development of your philosophy gradually will allow it to evolve into something autonomous of the original philosophy.
    • Keep a journal and continue writing down your thoughts and ideas, even if they're not coherent. Patience is essential because it may take you years to sort through all the discarded notions to find the treasure buried underneath. The passage of time is healthy, as it allows your ideas to keep evolving and to be tested by daily events.
    • Ask some pertinent questions, such as:
      • What is the purpose of your philosophy? Do you want to apply it to all of society or just a sector?
      • What is your role in your philosophy? What, if any, are the roles of particular people in your philosophy?
      • How will you explain the basis of your philosophy to others? Is it helpful on a practical level, or Utopian?
      • How do other belief sets or philosophies fit in with or go against your philosophy?
      • Are you willing to write down a thesis or book of your philosophy? Or would you rather write stories that contain your philosophy but are not overtly a philosophical work in structure?
  6. Talk to others interested in philosophy. They can point out faults you might have missed and give different solutions. This is helpful for developing your philosophy.
    • Join a local philosophy group, club, or chapter.
    • Join an online group that has private forums where you can share your ideas freely and get responses.
    • Visit your local university and ask to speak with philosophy professors to share your thoughts with them.
    • If you find someone else who really understands where your new philosophy is headed, embrace their enthusiasm but take care to keep working on your understandings separate from their enthusiasm. It is hard to follow someone else while they are still working out what it is that they believe, so their enthusiasm may just be because they like and trust you.
  7. Actively find/seek out new experiences to help you to see things in different ways and from different angles.
  8. Keep reading philosophy. It will allow you to see previous philosophers' attempts, what they found, and what fallacies they fell into; thus, progressing your own philosophy. This will also help you to see whether or not you are attempting something that a previous philosopher has already tried.
  9. Keep up to date with the world. Try reading a newspaper once in a while. It'll help you apply theories to real situations.
    • For example, take a serious news story that involves issues impacting on many sectors of society and ask yourself: "What would I have done?" Work your answers into your developing philosophy to see if it can withstand actual events and provide explanations, instruction, or greater understanding.
  10. See yourself as a philosopher, whether or not you work as one. A career in philosophy, or similar roles such as a researcher in a think-tank or institute, will ensure you dedicate regular time to your philosophy, but for the part time philosopher make sure you dedicate enough time to it so you keep improving and don't forget bits of your work.
  11. Try as much as possible to live up with your thoughts, even when you are experiencing something uncanny that probably distracts your opinions, get back to those notes that you have made about your philosophy or the inspiring books that you have been reading. It'll help.

Tips

  • Try to expand your philosophy – go into other types of philosophy to broaden your ability, even where you don't necessarily like what you're reading or learning. You can learn a great deal from what you don't connect with as well as from that which resonates for you.
  • Use someone else's philosophies as a framework only as a beginner; doing this first will build your foundations. Once you keep striving, you will be able to let go more and trust in your own philosophical viewpoints and conclusions.

Warnings

  • As a philosopher, you are a lover of wisdom and the truth. Don't hold back just because you are afraid of the consequences – if the great philosophers over time had done so, there would be no philosophy for us to live by and learn from. Sometimes you just have to accept that people won't understand where you're coming from, nor even why you are so impassioned about something they really don't understand.
  • Isolation and loneliness can be a result of your more mature outlook and perhaps radical opinion, but do not wallow in self pity. Pick yourself up and find like-minded people and remember the truth is more important than fearing other people's opinions of you.

Things You'll Need

  • Notebook and pen
  • Writings of other philosophers
  • Access to living philosophers and deep thinkers

How to Be Beautiful

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
While beauty is almost as subjective as love, it's something that you can explore and discover in yourself over time. This article focuses on both inner and outer beauty; for more on having a beautiful appearance, see How to Be Classically Beautiful and How to Look Naturally Beautiful.

Steps

  1. Seek beauty around you. How do you define beauty? As you go through your day, try to make note of things and people that strike you as beautiful: art, the sky, someone's freckles. If you can, write them down. Find your beauty. Try to understand what makes them beautiful to you. They may not be beautiful to others, but that's the reason beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  2. Recognize the beauty in yourself. Look in the mirror and search for beauty. By now, you've probably noticed that the most beautiful things in life are often subtle and hidden. The same goes for the beauty you hold. Maybe you have smooth, well-proportioned hands, or a flawless forehead, or perfectly-shaped shoulders. Whatever it is, it's yours--revel in it.
  3. Enhance your physical beauty. Looking beautiful is all about emphasizing those features in you that are already beautiful. There are millions of ways to do this, as there are millions of potentially beautiful features on a single body. The important thing is to experiment with accentuating that beauty until you can look at your reflection and feel like you've given your beauty the representation it deserves.
  4. Develop your inner beauty. There are plenty of so-called beautiful people out there who lie, cheat, steal, and even kill. Their beauty never lasts, but yours can. By finding yourself and building your character through integrity, you can be beautiful both on the inside and on the outside. Better yet, your inner beauty will always emanate and never fade, wrinkle, or turn gray.
  5. Create beauty outside of yourself. Now that you see beauty and you are beautiful (as you always have been, but now know it), it's time to make beauty. Art is a very popular emulation of beauty, but it's possible to inject beauty into everything you do (your work, how you interact with people, and the way you decorate your room, for example). This is an extremely satisfying pursuit that will not only make the world a more beautiful place, but it will also bring your quest for beauty full circle.

Tips

  • Even though what is considered beautiful varies from person to person, there are a few broad characteristics that most people seem to agree on:
    • Health is beautiful. There's nothing beautiful about destroying your body, even if you do it slowly by neglecting your body.
    • Character is beautiful. Think of the most beautiful people you know; now imagine them spitting on a homeless person. They're not very beautiful anymore, are they?
  • Tell yourself every day when you wake up: "I am beautiful. No one can take that away from me."
  • If you are getting older - in your thirties, forties, or older, you will be beautiful in a different way than a younger person. You will have lines, perhaps scars, perhaps some grey, you may have mannerisms or ways of moving that have become uniquely you. For a woman, you can take these changes and either use them to feel deeper, richer, more nuanced, more sensual, or you can feel worn down, comparing yourself to younger women.

Warnings

  • Being fake (a form of deception) is one of the ugliest things in the world. Don't think that in order to be beautiful, you can't be yourself.
  • Many people have terrible judgment and don't recognize beauty when they see it. They may say things that can hurt you, but don't let their ignorance ruin your happiness, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
  • Beware, some people may also overemphasize inner beauty as the only area one should work on enhancing. Do not believe making "adjustments" to your outer beauty is being fake. As long as you are comfortable, you are good to go.

The experiments done on water are very profound. If water is effected by thoughts and prayers, imagine how your life could change by holding those thoughts and prayers in your mind. We as humans are mostly made up of water. The bible is interpreted differently by everyone that reads it. Could there be hidden truths about water in the bible? What about the quaran or the tora or any other "book of life"? Water could be the key to our evolution as humans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4n-rw6vq-4&feature=related  Here is another video showing the effects that our thoughts and prayers have on water.
Revolutionary new discoveries about water

This is an amazing wander about water. It has been proven that our human bodies are made up of 60 to 90 percent water depending on how much water you drink. How many verses in the bible are there where Jesus talks about water in some way or another?  This is another giant leap for mankind.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not "be" offended in me.  St. Matthew chapter 11 verses 5 and 6
